Debian can be installed on Mac OS as an virtual machine. First download an virtual machine software such as Virtualbox for OS X Hosts or any other similiar app. Then download Debian image and install.
Debian can also be installed on Apple PC as an standard OS. However the number of models that support this installation method is limited.
